Collaborative Bargaining Traning
Many districts are recognizing that the traditional "win/lose" approach to bargaining is inconsistent with their organizational values. It does not support the creation of positive, collaborative working relationships when the bargaining is over.
MLI provides training for bargaining teams on the collaborative bargaining philosophy and process. This process uses rational decision-making processes rather than power and gamesmanship. Upon completion of training, teams will be able to implement this process in their district.
The MLI associate may facilitate the first bargaining session or work with the internal facilitator to make sure the process gets off to a good start.
