Profile of Michigan Leadership Institute
Michigan Leadership Institute is a private organization dedicated to the public good. We were founded in the belief that leadership is the key ingredient in the success or failure of any organization, and that our local public organizations are critical in enhancing the quality of life for Michigan citizens.
Our mission is to make Michigan’s communities better places to learn and live by defining, developing and deploying outstanding and inspirational local public leadership.
Based upon that foundation, we provide leadership services for all local public sector organizations interested in developing or seeking outstanding leaders.
Through our experience and continuous research into the "calling," the art and the science of public sector leadership and governance, we understand the unique role of today's public sector leaders and the skills and qualities necessary for their success.
All MLI associates are successful public sector leader-practitioners, as well as outstanding presenters and facilitators. Services of the Institute include customized academies, workshops, planning facilitation, mentoring, and search services.
