Mentoring/Coaching
The first year in a superintendency is critical, as it sets the stage for long-term success (or potential failure) in the position. Frequently, limited resources exist to provide support to new leaders as they attempt to manage the complexities of their new role.
Several boards and ISD's have recognized the value of providing contracted mentoring services to local school districts with new superintendents. By providing this mentoring, greater organizational stability and success will result.
Mentoring services are provided by highly qualified professionals, all of whom have enjoyed successful experience in the superintendency. Services may be customized to individual needs.
