Today's planning processes can no longer follow the traditional "strategic planning" model. Conditions today are more dynamic, fast-changing, and focused on outcomes rather than process goals. Capacity must be developed within the organization for using data, learning, and strategic thinking.
MLI offers workshops and planning process facilitation. After discussing the organization's needs, services are customized, using only the planning process components that are needed.
We can help the district focus on developing or reaffirming their vision, mission, guiding principles, indicators of success, measures, and strategies, plus help with clarifying the planning roles and responsibilities of the board, administration and staff.
